After a twelve year hiatus, I’ve dug out my brushes and dived back into this fluid medium. I began my full time painting career painting on site with watercolors. The previous experience clearly helped, as watercolor is one of the toughest mediums to master. Most of that is allowing the paint, water, brush and paper to do whatever it’s going to do.
In other words, the artist must know when to get out of the way.
